3 Crockpot Recipes for Soup


1 of the benefits of preparing soups in crock pots is the richness of flavour from the slow cooking method. At this time, I am sharing with you three deligthful crockpot recipes for soups, amazing confort dishes any time of the year.

16 BEAN SOUP

1 package 16 Bean Soup

three bay leaves

1 tablespoon crushed oregano

two cans no-fat chicken stock

Further water to cover

three stalks celery chopped

three carrots diced

1 huge onion chopped

three cloves garlic sliced

1 pound turkey Italian sausage sliced

two cans stewed (or diced) tomatoes

Mix first 5 ingredients (liquid will need to cover mixture by 1"-two") in

Crock Pot Cook on high for two hours Add remaining ingredients and shift cooker to low and cook for further three hours For a great deal more zing, add cayenne or crushed red pepper when adding second set of ingredients. Serve as complete meal or more than rice. Freezes effectively.

VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP

1 pound ground chuck

1 cup chopped onion

1 huge (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes (chopped)

three cup diced potatoes

1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans

two teaspoon chili powder

two-three dashes cayenne pepper sauce

two (ten 1/two oz.) cans condensed beef bouillon

1 cup chopped celery

1 cup sliced carrots

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Brown meat with onion and celery drain off fat. Stir in remaining ingredients and add 1 or two cups water. Cover and cook on low for 8-ten hours.

BARBECUED BEAN SOUP

* 1 lb Tremendous Northern beans, soaked

* two tsp Salt

* 1 med Onion, chopped

* 1/8 tsp Ground pepper

* two lb Beef brief ribs

* 6 cup Water

* three/four cup Barbecue sauce

Location all ingredients in Slow Cooker except barbecue sauce Cover and cook on Low ten to 16 hours. Before serving, get rid of brief ribs and cut meat from bones. Return meat to Slow Cooker. Stir in barbecue sauce ahead of serving.
